Terms and Conditions of Use Last updated: April 2026 IMPORTANT: These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Medzr. Please read them carefully before using the platform. By registering or using Medzr, you agree to be bound by these terms.

  1. About Medzr — What We Are and Are Not. Medzr (“the Platform”) is an online peer-to-peer marketplace operated in Ireland, designed exclusively for use by registered healthcare professionals and students. MEDZR IS NOT A SELLER. Medzr does not sell, buy, stock, handle or take ownership of any item listed on the Platform at any time. Every item listed on Medzr is listed by an individual seller who is solely responsible for that item. When a purchase is made on Medzr, the legally binding contract of sale is formed directly and exclusively between the buyer and the seller. Medzr is not a party to that contract in any way. Medzr charges a commission on completed transactions as a fee for use of the Platform. This commission does not make Medzr a party to the contract of sale between buyer and seller. Medzr’s role is limited to providing the technology platform that enables buyers and sellers to find each other, communicate, and complete transactions. Medzr facilitates but does not participate in any transaction. Medzr accepts no responsibility for the quality, accuracy, safety, legality, or fitness for purpose of any item listed or sold through the Platform. Any claims arising from a transaction must be directed to the seller, not to Medzr. The Platform is operated in accordance with Irish law and applicable EU regulations, including the EU Digital Services Act.

  2. Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years of age to use Medzr. Medzr is intended for: Registered healthcare professionals (including but not limited to doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, radiographers, pharmacists, dietitians, paramedics, dentists, and occupational therapists). Students enrolled in an accredited healthcare qualification programme. By registering, you confirm that you meet the above criteria. Medzr reserves the right to request proof of professional status and to suspend or terminate accounts where eligibility cannot be confirmed.

  3. User Accounts. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify Medzr immediately at support@medzr.com if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account. Medzr reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts at any time for breach of these Terms or conduct harmful to the Platform or its users.

  4. Seller Obligations. Honesty Declaration: By listing an item on Medzr, you declare that: All listing information is accurate, honest and not misleading. You accurately describe the item’s condition, age, and any defects or damage. You are the legal owner of the item or have the right to sell it. The item is not subject to any recall, safety notice or regulatory restriction. The item complies with all applicable laws and regulations. **Prohibited Items:**The following are strictly prohibited from listing on Medzr: Needles, sharps, cannulas and any single-use clinical items. Syringes, drug measuring devices and dosing equipment. Surgical instruments intended for clinical use on patients. Patient monitoring devices including pulse oximeters and ECG leads. Prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs, or controlled substances. Items subject to a recall or safety notice. Counterfeit, stolen or illegally obtained goods. Any item whose sale is prohibited under Irish or EU law. Medzr reserves the right to remove any listing in breach of these restrictions without notice. Marking Items as Delivered: IMPORTANT: Once a sale is confirmed, the seller must dispatch the item promptly and mark it as “delivered” in their Medzr inbox as soon as it has been posted. If a seller fails to take any action within 14 days of a confirmed sale, the transaction will be automatically cancelled by the system and the buyer will receive a full refund. The seller will not be paid. It is entirely in the seller’s interest to mark the item as delivered promptly after posting. Medzr is not responsible for any loss of earnings arising from a seller’s failure to mark an item as delivered within the required timeframe.Postage, Delivery and Customs: Sellers are solely responsible for postage costs, secure packaging, and dispatching items promptly after a confirmed sale. Medzr strongly recommends that sellers restrict shipping to Ireland only during the launch period. Sending within the EU (including Ireland to other EU member states): An Aviation Security Declaration must be attached to all letters, packets or parcels containing goods sent within the EU (excluding Northern Ireland). Sellers must fully and accurately describe the contents of the item and include their name, address and signature. This form is available at An Post. Sending to non-EU countries (including Great Britain / UK): All items posted from Ireland to a country outside the European Union, including Great Britain, must be presented to the customs authorities in the receiving country. An Post may be required to complete a customs declaration on the seller’s behalf through Revenue’s Automated Export System (AES). This is known as Advanced Electronic Data (AED). Sellers can provide the required customs data at their local post office or online via An Post’s Click & Post service. A CN23 customs label must be affixed to all items of any size or value sent to non-EU countries. Sellers must provide the following information for the customs declaration: Sender’s name, address and contact details, Recipient’s name and address, A detailed and accurate description of the item(s), Quantity and number of units, Net weight of the item(s), Value of the item(s), Category of the item(s), Reason for export, postage and shipping cost. Insufficient or inaccurate customs data may result in the item being returned to the sender by the receiving country’s customs authorities. Medzr accepts no responsibility for items returned, delayed or refused due to incomplete customs declarations. An Post may share customs data with Irish Revenue where appropriate, including for consignments above €1,000 or subject to prohibitions and restrictions. Sellers must ensure that items sent internationally are not on An Post’s list of prohibited items for air travel. This list is available at anpost.com. Buyer responsibility for international orders: Buyers are responsible for any import duties, VAT or handling charges levied by the receiving country’s customs authorities. These charges are entirely outside Medzr’s control and are not included in the listed price or shipping cost. Medzr accepts no responsibility for such charges.

  5. Buyer Obligations: Buyers are responsible for reading all listing information carefully before purchasing, including item condition, delivery method and any stated restrictions. By completing a purchase, the buyer enters into a direct contract with the seller. Medzr is not a party to this contract. Marking Items as Received: IMPORTANT. When your item arrives, mark the transaction as “received” in your Medzr inbox. This releases payment to the seller. If a buyer does not mark the transaction as received within 14 days of the seller marking it as delivered, the system will automatically mark it as received and release payment to the seller. Once a transaction is automatically completed, raising a dispute is no longer possible. If there is any problem with an item — it has not arrived, is not as described, or is damaged — the buyer must raise a dispute within 14 days of the seller marking it as delivered. Do not click I have received my order. Buyers are responsible for any import duties, taxes or customs charges applicable in their country of receipt.

  6. Transactions, Payments and Commission All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By transacting on Medzr, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service. The buyer’s payment card is charged immediately upon checkout. Funds are held securely until the transaction is marked as received. Medzr charges a commission of 12% of the subtotal price on each completed transaction, subject to a minimum commission of €1.00. This commission is deducted from the seller's earnings before payout. The commission is inclusive of all platform costs, including VAT, Sharetribe platform fees, and Stripe payment processing fees. No additional fees or deductions will be applied to the seller's payout beyond this commission. The seller will receive the remaining balance after commission has been deducted. Seller payouts are triggered when a transaction is marked as received, either by the buyer, automatically after 14 days, or by Medzr in a dispute resolution. Payouts may take 7–10 business days to reach the seller’s bank account. Browsing and posting is free. However please see pricing below; we try to keep these low as possible to ensure sustainability and running of the platform. Pricing for Sellers: Medzr charges a commission of 12% of the subtotal price on each completed transaction, (no comission charged on shipping) subject to a minimum commission of €1.00. The minimum €1 only kicks in when 12% of the sale price would be less than €1, i.e. on subtotal transactions under €8.33. This commission is deducted from the seller's earnings before payout. The commission is inclusive of all platform costs to use and Stripe payment processing fees. No additional fees or deductions will be applied to the seller's payout beyond this commission. The seller will receive the remaining balance after commission has been deducted. Pricing For Buyers: A Service & Protection Fee of €1 is added to each order at checkout. This fee helps us provide: secure payment processing, fraud prevention measures customer support, ongoing platform maintenance and improvements. In the event of a cancellation or refund, payment is returned to the buyer in full.

Medzr’s role in disputes is limited to facilitating resolution through the platform tools available. Medzr does not act as an arbitrator. Medzr is not responsible for items lost in transit.
